Stanley McMahan
Stanley-McMahanA watchmaker at the bench since 1983 with a WOSTEP education makes Stanley McMahan the faculty resource you need on your journey to becoming a watchmaker.

McMahan’s passion for teaching is evidenced as a recipient of the 2004 Oklahoma State University / A&M Regents Distinguished Teaching Award. He also holds multiple WOSTEP and AWCI training certifications as well as a Dick Lang Award certificate for highest score on the AWCI CW21 exam.

A WOSTEP instructor since 2002, he has many successful graduates employed as watchmakers in the U.S. and countries around the world including Australia, Japan, and Switzerland.
 
Russell Peddy
Russell-PeddyA watchmaker since 1983, Russ began training other watchmakers and operators in 2007. His WOSTEP education, bench experience and training activities give our students a well-rounded learning experience.

Mr. Peddy is responsible for the creation of our operator training program.

His graduates enjoy the success of his instruction not only as watch encasing technicians but benefit also from his management perspective.

Russ participates in the Certified Watchmaking program as a supporting instructor with an emphasis on casing and refinishing techniques.

 
Jessica Thakur
JessicaThakurA watchmaker since 2002, Jessica’s journey as a watchmaker began as a student under the Australian apprenticeship system for four years.

Jessica was a recipient of the highly sought after Churchill fellowship, a program designed to assist talented Australians to further their skills in a given field, this allowed her to take her experience to the next level in 2010 by attending the WOSTEP certification course.

Jessica’s passion for the industry and helping future watchmakers on their own journey to becoming professionals has brought her to the NAIOSW.
